I got a call from Edmund last week wanting me to help style an anniversary shoot for his close friends, Shannon and Eddie.  He had some great ideas to start off with and from there he said to have fun!  He was already eyeing my vintage trunk I had and I thought it would be great to use it as a table for a cute outdoor date!  I loved that we were shooting around orange trees and thought to carry the theme to serve Orange Mimosas.  I had a blast putting all the rest of the details together and realized halfway through the shoot that I subconsciously created an insanely cute date that I would definitely love to do myself sometime!

Above: This is one of my favorite shots!  I came across this super cute calender and I love how just one simple item can really add to picture.  The headpiece I made myself, I am into feathers right now and found some great orange ones to use.  I was so happy when I showed it to Shannon, she loved it and it was one of my favorite pieces but of course she made it look even better…

What goes well with oranges?  Chocolate of course!  The vintage dishes and glasses are from my prop collection as well as the vintage stand.

I love this shot of Shannon, she told me that Eddie and her were having so much fun!  They actually felt like they were on a real date and enjoyed the food and drinks…THAT just made my day!!!

As Edmund was shooting away, I got the lights ready and of course they got all tangled to which I shouted out: “I feel like Clark Griswald!!!”  Of course it was all worth it in the end as the shots of the lights turned out brilliant!  Shannon and Eddie, it was so great to meet you both… you guys were such a sweet couple and a big Thank you to Edmund… so fun to work with!  For more photos check out Edmund\’s blog and today it was featured on greylikesweddings blog!
