One thing I love about photography is the behind the scene action that happens. I love the whole process from a simple idea to then making it happen in real life and capturing it with the camera. Of course there has been times when the idea has not worked out then it lead me to another one, maybe even better… that is the best. When I was working on my Mad Hatter shoot with Jessica Claire awhile back ago, I had this idea to have clocks floating in frames above the door table. I checked out the site again and realized how was I going to get the wire high enough to go over the tree to hang? After much trial and error and I’ll save the long story… we were able to hang the frames in place! Below, Jess shot a quick photo of me setting up:
Then we found the next problem to get the shot was to keep the frames still! There was a slight breeze so before every shot I had to hold the frames still and then quickly run away so Jess could capture the shot! Good thing she had super fast fingers!
We had to do this about 15 times to make sure we got the shot but again… it was all worth it in the end! I love when my ideas can come to life!
